Ivan Simon Cary Elwes is an English actor, voice actor, and writer, who is best known for his roles as Westley in The Princess Bride and Dr. Gordon in the horror film series Saw. He is also well-known for his other box office hit films, such as Twister, Liar Liar, Hot Shots!, and Mel Brooks' Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
