Cassandra Nova Xavier (commonly known as Cassandra Nova) is a Marvel Comics character, who appears in Deadpool & Wolverine as the main antagonist, played by Emma Corrin.
She is a Mutant with the Mutant powers of telekinesis and telepathy. She is ruthless and has a brilliant mind.
Cassandra Nova was created by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely.

Personality[]
Cassandra's shown to be an evil woman who kills those who get in her way. She was pruned to the Void before she could even walk as it was known her powers were too evil to be used in her universe. Cassandra uses her powers to trick her victims into remembering moments in their lives that taunt them and enjoys power as she wants to destroy the multiverse.

Deadpool & Wolverine[]
Cassandra makes her live action debut in this film, portrayed by Emma Corrin. She lives in The Void and has a group of henchmen who work for her. When Cassandra meets Deadpool and Wolverine,, it's revealed Cassandra got banished to Void due to her evil actions and killed a variant of Scott Lang when he was in giant form, and uses his body as her base. Cassandra manages to get inside Wolverine's mind with her telekinesis and makes him remember his world being destroyed, after she kills Human Torch, thanks to Deadpool's speech. Deadpool places a special helmet on Cassandra which can kill her but she promises to get them home with the sling ring she stole from a variant of Doctor Strange that she killed after he got pruned into the void. Deadpool and Wolverine use the portal to escape the void and return to Earth-10005, Deadpool's universe, while Cassandra watches on. After Deadpool and Wolverine kill Deadpool variants, they work together to stop Cassandra once and for all, by destroying the time ripper, saving the universe and resulting in Cassandra's death.

- In the comics, Cassandra Nova is the evil twin sister of Charles Xavier/Professor X and an enemy of the X-Men.
- Professor X made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, in 2022.
- Cassandra's portrayer Emma Corrin, is well known for staring as Diana, Princess of Wales in the TV series The Crown.
- Emma Corin was cast as Cassandra Nova because Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy saw them in a performance of Virginia Woolf's Orlando: A Biography stage play in 2022, with Corrin accepting the role as they were interested in playing a villain.[1]
- Emma Corrin was going to hire a trainer, but was told that they didn't need to physically train as their character was mainly a mental character rather than a physical one.
