Appearances

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Ant-Man

Cassie is the daughter of Scott and Maggie Lang. After the arrest of her father, her mother became engaged to policeman named Jim Paxton. Cassie was visited by Scott on her sixth birthday (though Scott could not be there) and Scott gave his daughter a very ugly rabbit toy, which Cassie loved, much to Jim's displeasure. Excited, Cassie told her mother that her father had attended the party. Days later, Cassie learned that her step-father was chasing her father, Paxton said he only wants to help him; she then said she did not want him to find her father.

Later, Maggie comes in to her room and Cassie asks her if her father is a bad man. Maggie replies with he gets confused sometimes.

A day before the big mission, while she slept, Scott went to her room to kiss her forehead and tell her he loved her. One night after, a furious Darren Cross went to Maggie's house to kidnap her and thus make Scott came to him for a final duel. Eventually, Scott went to rescue her which led to a super mini-battle between Darren and Scott. When the battle seemed lost, Jim broke into the room to protect Cassie from Darren as he sought revenge against Scott and his family. As Darren was ready to give the final blow, Scott decided to turn sub-atomic to destroy the Yellowjacket suit and save Cassie and Jim. Scott's plan was a success as he saved the lives of Cassie and Jim. After the battle, Cassie called her father to appear (thanks to that Scott fought to return from the Quantum Realm and go back to being normal size).

A few days later, she with her parents and Jim had a pleasant dinner until Luis called Scott to tell something very important. At dinner, it is revealed that Cassie took a giant ant as a pet.

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Cassie's bond with Scott has become stronger over time, as both Cassie and Maggie more or less accepted Scott's role as Cassie's father. Cassie helps Scott with his ordeal at being in house arrest, and is willing to accept Hope as a mother figure.

Avengers: Endgame

Five years after surviving Thanos's snap, a teenage Cassie reunites with her father after he escapes the Quantum Realm. Later, Cassie watches fireworks with Scott, Hope and Luis.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Cassie appears in the sequel to Ant-Man and the Wasp, now as a teenager. In 2026, Cassie is in jail after shrinking a cop car and her father Scott Lang is informed by the San Francisco county jail of her arrest. Scott arrives to the jail to find his girlfriend and Cassie's mother-figure Hope Van Dyne, already there, having also been informed. Cassie is bailed out of jail by her parents and on their way home, she tells Scott she got arrested after trying to help people find homes after losing them during the blip. Scott praises Cassie for wanting to help people, but she accidentally lets it slip that she now has a suit which was created by Hank Pym. Annoyed that Cassie has her own suit, becoming known as Stature, Scott tells his daughter he just wants her to have a normal life, to which she reminds him of the incident back in 2015, when a "guy dressed like a bee" tried to kill her in her bedroom when she was 6 years old, referring to Darren Cross.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania - Cassie and Scott

Back home at the Pym residence, the Lang-Pym family are having dinner when Cassie informs her dad that she has been working on a device that sends down a signal to the quantum realm, which she started back during the blip while the rest of the family were dusted and Scott was trapped down there. In Hank's workshop, Cassie shows Scott what she has been working on and although amazed, Janet soon scolds her "granddaughter" for sending a signal down to the realm and demands Cassie turns it off. However, before she is able to do so, Cassie and her family are sucked into the tunnel and find themselves in the area where Janet was stuck for 30 years, but Cassie and Scott find themselves separated from Hope, Janet, and Hank.

They are soon surrounded by residents of the realm and learn of Kang the Conqueror, whom eventually captures them thanks to M.O.D.O.K. - and tortures Cassie in front of Scott. Scott agrees to help Kang if he releases Cassie and goes down to the multiversal engine core, while Cassie watches. Following Scott's success, Cassie is sent back to her holding cell, but she manages to use two quantum discs, which allows her to shrink herself and escape the cell. Finding the Axia residents, Cassie encourages them to fight back against Kang, despite their history of losses.

Eventually finding M.O.D.O.K., Cassie tries to teach out to the deformed human and tries to encourage him to also fight back against his leader. Cassie and Scott are soon reunited with Hope and the three bound together to confront Kang, During the battle, Cassie is able to grow to giant size for the first time and grabs hold of Kang, amazing her father. The two hug as Kang seems defeated, until he rants to the family about how powerful he is. M.O.D.O.K decides to take upon Cassie's words she said earlier and sides with them to defeat Kang, which leads to his death.

The Lang-Pym family mourn their ally as he dies and Janet informs Cassie, Hope, Scott, and Hank that she has successfully reopened the portal, which can send them back to earth. Cassie gets through with Hope, Janet, and Hank but without Scott, whom has been pulled away by Kang. Cassie watches as Hope goes back in to save Scott. Following Kang's demise, Cassie is reunited with her father and the family celebrates all of Cassie's birthdays they missed during those five years during the blip.
