"Cat on a Hot Grim Roof" is the second segment of The 7D. It premiered on November 30, 2014 alongside "Big Bad Sneezy".
Plot[]
Because her Rival Snazzy Shazam has a black cat, Hildy demands Grim to get her one as well but is only able to get an adorable white cat. After sending Grim to keep looking for a black cat, Hildy attempts to get rid of the white cat, but the cat instantly reappears inside the house, even sending the cat to the top of Mount Jollymanjaro or on a rocket ship to the Moon. Suddenly, six more white cats arrive at the manor. Grim arrives home and tells Hildy he purchased all seven cats.
Hildy still doesn't want the seven cats, so Grim drops them at the 7D's cottage. Dopey finds them at the front door, and after recounting the past events of bringing animals into the cottage, Dopey hides them in the basement. But the white cats begin to roam freely around the cottage, which includes eating cheese belonging to a suspecting Grumpy. The rest of the 7D then heard the commotion and learn that Dopey had brought the kittens inside.
Meanwhile, Grim finally gets Hildy a black cat, only to find out it's the one that once belonged to Snazzy, who no longer wants it because white cats are now the in-thing to have. She then tells Hildy that the seven white cats are actually the mystical magical cats of Catalina, and whoever had recently purchased them should consider themselves lucky, making Hildy and Grim very disappointed.

Trivia[]
- This is the first episode to feature Hildy in the title card instead of the 7D.
- This is the second two episodes where the glooms don't plan anything evil, the first was "Free Teensy".
