Celebration USA! was a parade that was held at Disneyland during the Summer and Autumn of 1991. The parade was a tongue-in-cheek take on the modern side of America and the culture it offered, all depicted into five units.
Three of the floats were later used for a mini filler cavalcade titled Livin' in the USA!, which took place in the Spring of 1992 before the park's next big parade - The World According to Goofy premiered.
Floats[]
- Opening - The title float consists of a float decked out in red and blue, with the parade's logo above. The float is ridden on by Minnie Mouse, Roger Rabbit, Goofy, Chip and Dale.
- Suburbia - This unit dedicates itself to suburban life. It features a mailman, lawnmowers and local children on skateboards and rollerblades. The float depicts a cultural American house.
- Heartland Ranch - The Heartland Ranch begins with the gateway to the ranch, which inside, features a bull, giant fruit and a float depicting Old McDonald Duck's Farm, featuring Donald Duck and Daisy Duck helping out with sorting eggs that the nearby chicken in a barn float nearby lays.
- Metropolis - Scrooge McDuck leads this unit on a car, leading several other Disney characters on working in a modern city. The float depicts a colorful city with the Big Bad Wolf as the big bad boss. This is followed on with a float depicting a traditional American bridge being built by nearby construction workers.
- American Finale - The final unit depicts the modern culture of true American icons. The unit begins with a set of dancers leading the way to a float depicting the Golden Eagle, the icon of American culture. Cheerleaders lead the way as the final float depicts the Statue of Liberty's torch inside a pop-up book heads onto the route. Mickey Mouse stands in front on a gated platform, dressed up as Uncle Sam.
