The Changing Hat is a magical hat that is featured in the Adventures of the Gummi Bears episode "A Gummi by Any Other Name".
The hat makes the wearer look like anyone the wearer names, even by accident; though, the wearer retains their own voice. The hat itself also changes, depending on the form the wearer takes, with its magic gem still visible on the wearer.
Zummi Gummi magically conjures it up with a spell from the Great Book of Gummi, in order to cheer up Sunni Gummi. When Sunni finds out its powers, she uses it to impersonate Princess Calla, hoping to be treated like a princess herself, while the real princess is away from Dunwyn Castle trying out peasant life, only for both to find out that the lives of others aren't all that they're cracked up to be.
The hat itself causes a lot of confusion and chaos, even leading Princess Calla to finally learn of the existence of the Gummi Bears, until it is accidentally destroyed by two Ogres, who are ripping it in half.
