"Chapter Six: A Christmas to Remember" is the sixth and final episode of the first season of the Disney+ series The Santa Clauses and aired December 14, 2022. It was written by Hayley Frazier and Emalee Burditt and directed by Katie Locke O'Brien.
Synopsis[]
The Calvins race against Simon to find the Santa coat in order to save Christmas. Simon realizes the error of his ways and steps aside to let Scott be Santa again. The elves return and everyone hustles to get this year's Christmas deliveries pulled off in time. Scott takes his family on the delivery run, then they return to retake their place as the first family of the North Pole.
Plot[]
Befana discovers that the Santa coat has already left her house and is headed to Santa's workshop. The rest of the Calvins arrive and try to avoid getting caught by Simon's drones who have an AI and are surveying the North Pole. Still in prison, one of the drones overhears Scott and Gary discussing that they need to get the coat, alerting Simon who also begins a mad search for it. When Grace offers a present to him, he gets frustrated and yells at her to stay in her room. The Calvins manage to find Noel before rescuing Scott, where it turns out he could have just eaten his way out of the prison. Noel accidentally knocks Gary's hat off, causing him to vanish too.
Simon finds the clockwork soldiers and sets them to go look for the coat. The gang split up to search for it and Carol finds herself angrily beating up the soldiers. Sandra speaks with her animal friends to help as Grace overhears her and Cal manages to talk to the drones and gets them to open up emotionally. Everyone manages to find the coat just as Simon discovers it too. Despite Befana's presence, Simon gets the coat and threatens to burn it, only for Grace to come and see him. Scott asks Grace to forgive her father as he has lost his way and she offers him a snow globe that shows their first Christmas together without her mother. Realizing his mistake, Simon apologizes for how he acted as the coat returns to Scott.
The entire gang go searching for the Christmas orb and discover that it is completely black. Scott admits that this was his fault as he failed to embrace the Christmas spirit. Everyone hugs which causes the orb to light back up and all the elves return. Scott dons the suit, returning him to the role of Santa Claus, and the Choksis are returned home with their memory wiped. Sandra uses her powers to get the reindeer to fly again as the Calvins are invited to ride with Santa this year. The Calvins take to the skies as they rapidly visit all the houses. At the last stop, Cal goes solo and discovers that he is at Riley's house. She finally learns the truth about him and they share a kiss, though it is implied that Cal forgot to wipe her memory.
The Calvins return home as it is revealed that they left everyone a magic snow globe this season that shows them their happiest time together. Christmas is once again saved as Betty happily tells Santa that they have 365 days left until Christmas and are already behind schedule.
