Charles Christadoro worked for Disney from 1938 to 1940 and from 1950 to 1953. He worked on Pinocchio, Bambi, and various other films during his time with Disney. Disney has always considered his figures of Geppetto and Pinocchio as being excellent as well as being of great value to the animators. He can be linked to some of the most famous of names in Hollywood during his life. He's been vividly remembered by his friends Bob Baker, Ken Anderson, Walt Disney, and everyone linked with the Character Model Department.

He was called "Chris" by those close to him. He gave several 8x10 photos of the sculpture in the 1950s. He explained that his sculptures were used by the animators as models for their work.
