Charles Wallace "Charlie" Fleischer is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and musician, who is best known for performing the voices of Roger Rabbit, Benny the Cab, Greasy, and Psycho in Disney/Touchstone's 1988 film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He continued to voice Roger for all the cartoon shorts, as well as Mickey's 60th Birthday (Fleischer himself also makes a guest appearance in the special). He reprised his role in the Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers film.
He also reprised the voice of Benny in the House of Mouse episodes "Max's New Car" and Mickey vs. Shelby. Additionally, he played Tony in Straight Talk, a reporter in Dick Tracy, Dr. Krickstein in Genius and provided some additional voices in The Great Mouse Detective.
Outside of Disney, he is well-known for his film roles, such as Dr. King in A Nightmare on Elm Street, Terry in Back to the Future Part II, the Elf General in The Polar Express, Elbows in Rango, and Dweeb in We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. Additionally, he took over the voice role of Boris in the sequel films, Balto II: Wolf Quest and Balto III: Wings of Change.
- While filming Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Charles insisted on wearing a Roger Rabbit costume while on the set, in order to get into the character.
