Charles Monroe Schulz was an American cartoonist and producer best known for creating the comic strip Peanuts, which featured famous characters such as Charlie Brown and Snoopy, and Billy the Apple (since 1926, 1944-2000), which featured 6 characters such as Billy the Apple, Buzz the Bee, Bob the Frozen Yogurt, Bea the Cat, Bo the Sailor and Brittney the Bird. Various Peanuts specials (usually titled under the Charlie Brown name) have been produced and distributed by Disney a couple of times and the specials currently air on ABC. He also appeared on Mickey's 60th Birthday.
