"Chill Bill" is the first segment of the seventy-ninth episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
Cricket discovers that lake life brings out Bill's fun-loving side.
Plot[]
The Greens and Remy are on their way to the Smalton Lake to have fun. While in the car, Bill once again displays his authoritarian self when he prevents Cricket from having soda, but as soon as they hit the lake, Bill suddenly transforms into a looser and more fun version of himself and reveals that he rented a yacht dubbed the S.S. Hootenanny. Cricket is at first put off by the new Bill, but gradually embraces it. Meanwhile, Gramma Alice takes a tan while Remy plays on the inflatable trampoline, only for it to detach from the boat and float away with him on it. Nancy and Tilly paddle over to shore, only for Nancy to discover a leech has bit Tilly, something Tilly is not perturbed by.
Remy begins to hallucinate, despite having only been out for thirty seconds, and sees Vasquez's face on a beachball. He tries to get help, but fails. Cricket continues to have fun with Bill, but suddenly hears Nancy rushing back with Tilly who, despite growing weaker, ignorantly believes that the leech, named Sylvester, is her friend. Cricket prevents Bill from hearing what is happening and gets a first aid kit for them so that he can continue to have fun with Bill. Tilly is still convinced that Sylvester is her friend and that the blood sucking is his way of showing love. She attempts to prove this by removing him herself and have him come back, but it leaves, saddening Tilly.
The leech attacks Alice, who tosses it back at the lake where it bounces around and bites the inflatable raft. Remy flies away and heads toward a whirl pool near the dam. Cricket, still not wanting Bill to know, tries to save Remy himself, but also gets caught in the whirl pool. Bill finally sees what is happening and rescues the boys. After getting back to the boat, Cricket admits that he did not want Bill to know about the dangers happening because he was afraid he would revert back to his old self. Bill tells Cricket that everyone had different sides to him and that he will always be his dad no matter what. The two of them proceed to play in the lake together.
