"Chip's Revenge" is the one hundred-first episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
Chip enacts his ultimate revenge plan by framing the Green family for ruining Big City and turning everyone against them.
Plot[]
As a barge enters Big City's port, the Order of the Fang sneak aboard, knock out the crew, and steal the cargo. The Greens are having another grand day out, but Cricket becomes unnerved upon hearing the word "chip". As they attempt to ignore the bad feelings of Chip Whistler, Big City suddenly experiences a large explosion of rotten produce all over. Mayor Hansock, who recently welcomed his new assistant "Norm Alguy" (really Chip in disguise), announces to everyone in Big City that the culprits are the Greens themselves. Despite their claims of innocence, the entire city turns on them and begins to chase and attack them.
The Greens are rescued by Remy and Vasquez via helicopter, but it gets brought down by the public. The Greens quickly race to a costume store for disguises, during which Cricket's raging hatred towards Chip increases, resulting in him unleashing a state where he becomes more unhinged which makes him stronger and powerful. They encounter a mob who recently came back from their house (Gloria is safe because she was sleeping in the basement this whole time), but they see through their disguises; Cricket fights them off with his rage and the Greens continue to run. They make it to the port where they are "rescued" by Officer Keys who takes them to Mayor Hansock on a newly built island that contains a giant statue of himself. At this point, Chip reveals himself and turns tower statue into his likeness.
Chip plans to blow up all of Big City as revenge for how everyone turned on him. Having closed off the bridges and ceased all forms of vehicles, he announces his true intentions to the entire city who panic. Unleashing his rage, Cricket breaks from his restraints and attacks Chip, causing him to drop the key to the bomb. Cricket fights off Wholesome Greg and later the Order, but fails to get the key back from Chip who activates the bomb. His rage increased to its highest point, Cricket chases him out onto the arms of the Chip statue and fights him. Meanwhile, Tilly, Bill, and Gramma Alice are tortured by Babe, but manage to knock her out and escape. They discover the bomb and learn that to shut it off they need Babe's facial scan.
While the family successfully shut off the bomb, Cricket is overcome with anger and chips his own teeth while battling Chip, who is now dangling off the fortress and Cricket prepares to make him fall to his death. Tilly gets through to him that while he was right that Chip will never reform and fighting him was the right thing to do, his anger is turning him into Chip and he ceases, and rescues Chip instead. Chip attempts to overpower Cricket, but he slips on his teeth pieces and hits his face, causing him to lose all his teeth. Chip and all of his cohorts are arrested, getting a triple life sentence in the process, as the city apologizes to the Greens by giving them an apology cake and helps clean everything up.
