John Christian "Chris" Wedge is an American film director, film producer, screenwriter, cartoonist, actor, and voice actor, who is best known for his work founding the company Blue Sky Studios (along with Carlos Saldanha) and directed Ice Age (in which he voiced Scrat in the same franchise), Robots, Epic, and executive produced Horton hears a Who, Rio, and Ferdinand. He also directed the 2017 Paramount Pictures film Monster Trucks. His only known Disney work so far was in the 1982 live-action science fiction hybrid film, TRON, were he worked as a principle animator for the film.
