Christopher Clare Showerman is an American actor, screenwriter, and producer. For Disney, he is known for portraying the title character in George of the Jungle 2 (replacing Brendan Fraser). He also guest starred as a HYDRA Soldier in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode "No Regrets". He also played King Triton in the 2019 production of The Little Mermaid.
In 2006, Showerman formed an independent film production company called "Shorris Film with Clint Morris", whose first film was the supernatural western Between the Sand and the Sky. The company also produced Radio America, co-starring, directed, and written by Showerman. In 2012, Shorris Film co-produced Bristled: The Howl Chronicles.
