Trivia[]
- This is third of only 5 episodes when Donald Duck is wearing nothing but a blue pair of swim trunks for when he enters the water.
- The normally non-anthropomorphic animals behave like humans in this episode.
- When Donald laughs at Chip and Dale, his laughing tone is a reference to Nelson Muntz's laugh from The Simpsons.
- This is the first time Willie the Giant's personality is changed in this series. From this point on, he no longer tries to get Mickey and his friends like in his previous appearances, and he's no longer named "The Giant." Willie is now friendly instead of scary.
- First appearance of a plush toy version of Pete in the series.
- This is the sixth episode in total that only 3 Mousketools were used instead of 4, following "Donald's Big Balloon Race", "Daisy's Dance", "Pluto's Best", Mickey Saves Santa", and "Donald's Hiccups", it's also one of the only Season 2 episodes to have 3.
- When Goofy says, "Too high!", "Too low!", and "Just right!", it's a reference to "Goldilocks and the Three Bears".
- At the end of the episode, the mystery mouseketool is what the clubhouse members should save for Willie.
- The scene where the Sensational Six summon Toodles for the rope was used on a unknown Playhouse Disney promo for new episodes of the show.
