"Close Encounters of the Gummi Kind" is the second segment of the twenty-sixth episode of the Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It premiered on October 10, 1987 alongside "Water Way to Go", and is the second segment of the fifth episode in the third season.
Plot
When Gusto invents a decoy to lure ogres away from Gummi Glen, it fools the ogres, but also attracts the humans, who start looking around the forest. It is up to Gruffi and Gusto to save the glen.
