CommuniCore Hall and Plaza

CommuniCore Hall and Plaza in EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort, Florida is a multi-use venue that is split by its two distinct sections and serves as the home base for Epcot's different festivals. CommuniCore Hall is an exhibition space primarily used as a dedicated festival center with a permanent food booth and a separate meet-and-greet location, currently holding the Mickey & Friends attraction. CommuniCore Plaza is an outdoor space with an open seating area, outdoor festival booth, and in-the-round style stage.

It opened on June 10, 2024 as the final piece of the World Celebration land^[1].

2024[]

While the Hall and Plaza Stage primarily hold all entertainment offerings in the area, a second, temporary stage was constructed on the southwestern end of the Plaza in preparation of the 2024 International Festival of the Holidays which hosted JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season. At the conclusion of the festival, the stage remained as a photo-op area with a colorful "2025" sign for New Years Eve.^[2] The stage was once again used for the International Festival of the Arts for live painting demonstrations and musical performances. The stage would be removed following the end of the festival.

The stage was brought back for the 2025 International Festival of the Holidays, once again hosting JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season.
