Connie Torres is a character in the Camp Rock trilogy and is the mother to the protagonist, Mitchie Torres. She is hired as the chef at Camp Rock where her daughter starts attending for two summers.

Camp Rock[]
On the last day of the school year, Connie tells her daughter Mitchie that they can't afford to send her to Camp Rock for the summer but later gets hired to be the chef so Mitchie can go as long as she helps out in the kitchen. Wanting to blend in, Mitchie pretends that her parents are famous and not related to Connie, until her friend Caytlin discovers her secret. Connie tries to meet Mitchie's friends and after fighting with Tess Tyler, Mitchie and Caytlin are hired to work at the kitchen.
Connie later learns that Mitchie lied about her background and comforts her daughter when she is treated badly by Tess. She later watches her daughter perform after final jam when the summer is over.
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam[]
The following year, Connie and Mitchie arrive at Camp Rock, where Mitchie lets her boyfriend Shane know she is here. Connie advises her daughter to still have fun with the possibility that Shane and his brothers might not be able to attend Camp Rock this summer. Connie continues working in the kitchen while Mitchie works at the camp to win a competition between Camp Rock and Camp Star, which Camp Star wins. At the end of the summer, Camp Rock - which is about to shut down since staff and campers wanted to go to Camp Star instead of Rock - is members celebrate the summer as Connie gets help from staff from Camp Star as they decide to work here the following summer.
Camp Rock 3[]
Maria Canals-Barrera is set to reprise her role as Connie Torres for the sequel.
