Coyote Ugly is a 2000 comedy drama film directed by David McNally and loosely based on the autobiographical short story "The Muse of the Coyote Ugly Saloon" by Elizabeth Gilbert, which in turn was inspired the Coyote Ugly Saloon chain. It stars Piper Perabo, Adam Garcia, Maria Bello, Melanie Lynskey, and John Goodman.
Synopsis[]
A young woman leaves South Amboy, New Jersey for New York City to pursue her dream of being a songwriter. Trying to make ends meet, she gets a job at a bar called Coyote Ugly where the owner and workers teach her to come out of her shell.
