"Cubby the Brave!" is the second segment of the fiftieth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on May 24, 2013 alongside "Jake and Sneaky Le Beak!", and is the second segment of the twenty-fifth episode in the second season.
Plot[]
Jake and his crew are at an old slide, which Izzy rides first, followed by Jake and Cubby, who is a bit nervous about it, because it's high, but he does so anyway. Cubby then sees a rock, and informs everyone of such. Jake says that it's Claw Rock, and heard that there is supposed to be a map carved on it that leads to the treasure of Spiky-Pike Peak. Skully spots a map on the rock, and Cubby makes a rubbing of it on the back of his map and take it with the crew.
The first location on the map is Frightening Forest. Cubby decides to let the others go first, and Jake wishes there was some way he and Izzy could help Cubby realize how brave he really is. Just then, Skully spots some boots, and Jake thinks these could be the famous Boots of Bravery, which are special boots that make anyone who wears them extra brave. However, as Cubby goes to try them on, Izzy tells Jake that there is no such thing as Boots of Bravery. Cubby tries them on and feels braver already.

Cubby, marching in Captain Hook's Boots.
Just as Jake and his crew continue through the forest, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee finish their underwater treasure hunt, with the former stating that it was a waste of time. They then decide to return to the Jolly Roger when Captain Hook notices his boots are gone. He sees boot prints, which he and Mr. Smee follow.
While Jake and his crew are going through the forest, Skully hears something, which Cubby notices as an owl. Jake thinks the boots are working for Cubby, who leads the way to Cobweb Cave, which is crawling with spiders. To make their way through the cave, Jake and his crew decide to light their way through the cave with Pixie Dust, earning three gold doubloons. Meanwhile, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are continuing through the forest when the latter mentions the boot prints heading into the cave, which Jake and his crew than exit. As Captain Hook and Mr. Smee enter the cave, they can't see anything, and they later get pursued by spiders before escaping. Mr. Smee mentions that the boot prints lead to Spiky-Pike Peak.
Once there, Captain Hook stubs his toe, causing him and Mr. Smee to fall off and hanging off a ledge. Jake and his crew hears this, and comes up with the idea of using vines to hold their weight. Cubby decides to get the vines to them. As he is being lowered by Izzy and Jake, Cubby saves Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, earning three more gold doubloons. Afterwards, Captain Hook notices Cubby wearing his boots. Mr. Smee mentions that Captain Hook left his boots down by the lake while they went for a swim. Cubby apologizes, as he thought they were the Boots of Bravery. This means that Cubby did all the brave stuff with no special help, all by himself. Jake and Izzy are proud of him for that. They then continue to the treasure of Spike-Pike Peak. Captain Hook notices this.
Jake and his crew then arrive at the top of the peak, and see another Claw Rock. Cubby translates the writing on it, stating that to all who dare, the treasure has the thrills they seek. Cubby tells Captain Hook that the finger is pointing to the coolest slide ever. He goes first, followed by everyone else, and they all end up on the shore, with Captain Hook getting his boots back. For finding the treasure, they earned four more gold doubloons.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew collect the gold doubloons they got into their Team Treasure Chest. Cubby then states that he is fine with the shoes he has. Back on the Jolly Roger, Bones finishes polishing Captain Hook's boots. Captain Hook is about to put them on when he suddenly abandons ship, due to a spider inside them.
