D'Qar is a lush, jungle-covered planet located in the Ileenium system of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories. Surrounding the world is a large planetary ring that cast a shadow on its forested surface. It is also the headquarters of the Resistance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens before being abandoned during the evacuation in the beginning of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens[]
The Resistance meets in their base to discuss the threat that the First Order superweapon Starkiller Base imposes. Later, the Resistance fights to blow up the terrible Starkiller Base when it prepares to fire on D'Qar. When they emerge victorious, they return to D'Qar.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi[]
After the Resistance members returned to D'Qar during the end of The Force Awakens, they soon decide to evacute their base right after, fearing that the First Order might discover their location. While they are in the middle of the evacuation, the First Order fleet appears and a battle occurs on D'Qar. General Leia sends Resistance bombers to destroy the Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought Fulminatrix, and the Resistance pilot Poe Dameron decides to attack the Fulminatrix against Leia's orders. In the end, the Resistance manages to finish the evacuation of their base and escape from the First Order, but at the cost of the lives of all the members that were piloting the bombers which were all destroyed during the battle.
Star Wars Resistance[]
Shorty after the battle and evacuation of the Resistance base at the planet, the mobile refueling station, the Colossus, travels to D'Qar intending to refuel and obtain supplies for the ship at the Resistance base. As the Colossus approches the planet, they attempt to contact the Resistance base, but get no response. Noticing starship debris and all the destruction surrounding D'Qar, they realize that a battle happened and that the base was possibly destroyed. The Colossus is soon found out by the First Order and forced to leave after they salvaged the hyperfuel from the dreadnought remains to fuel their station.
