DCappella is an acapella music group signed to Walt Disney Records that consists mostly of covering songs from Disney properties, such as animated and live-action films, television series, park attractions and stage productions. The group first recorded an a capella version of the song "The Glory Days" from the film, The Incredibles composed by Michael Giacchino in 2004, to appear in its sequel, Incredibles 2, released in 2018, along with the characters Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone's theme songs.
After that, the group went to release a video called "Disney Medley", including songs from Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Zootopia, and The Lion King. The group started to release singles and in 2018 released its first studio album, the self-titled DCappella. In 2019, the band released a reissued version of the album containing Japanese-English versions of some songs, as well as a christmas EP called Rockin' Holiday.
Known for their reimagined classics from the Disney songbook, the group originally came together as a result of a nationwide search for the best vocal performing talent in a cappella and stage. Since their debut on the “American Idol” stage during Disney Night in 2018, DCappella has completed a 40-city tour through North America and parts of Canada, and they sold out an 18-city tour through Japan.
