Damage Control shuts down Adrian Toomes' salvage operation due to the fact that cleaning up after supervillain battles is Damage Control's job. This is what drives Toomes into supervillainy, going above the law by selling the scavenged tech on the black market, becoming the supervillain Vulture, and forming a partnership with fellow supervillains Shocker and Tinkerer.
After the world learns of Spider-Man's identity, he, along with his associates, are all arrested, for his vigilantism, as well as his alleged killing of Mysterio and attack in London. The case against them is later dropped by Peter's lawyer, Matt Murdock,
The organization first appears in the first episode of the Disney+ series. After footage circulates of an enhanced individual using powers at AvengersCon, Agents Cleary and Deever seek her out.[2]
In the second episode, Zoe Zimmer is brought into questioning at their base, after being rescued by the enhanced individual. Agent Deever manages to identify her as south asian, and the organization are sent to sweep every temple, community centre and mosque in search for her. They learn she's affiliated with the Islamic Masjid of Jersey City, after footage of her rescuing a boy from there, goes viral. They manage to track her down in an alleyway, nearby, using drones originating from Stark Industries. The enhanced manages to escape from their grasp, during their confrontation.[3]
In the third episode, Deever and her men enter the mosque, in hopes of finding answers, but are denied from doing a search. The organization later track their target at a wedding venue, and arrest a group, who were vandalizing the building, and in close proximity of her, but are unable to find the target herself.[4]
When the group arrested at the venue incapacitate the guards at the Supermax Prison and escape[5], Damage Control go on the search for them. They intercept CCTV footage located at Circle Q, where they track down the youngest member, Kamran. They fly a drone to his whereabouts, but he emits a blast from his hand, shooting their drone. The drone in response strikes a missile into the shop, causing it to explode.[6]
Agents Deever and Barrie arrive the following morning to Circle Q, which has now been declared a crime scene, and order a city lock down, while they search for Kamran. They decide on using non-lethal enhanced rounds, so he can be taken in alive, and his nature can be studied.[7]
Meanwhile, two DODC agents pursue Kamran, through the subway, but are unable to reach him, as his powers form crystalline projectiles between the two parties, giving them time to escape.[7]
When he is sighted near the Islamic Masjid of Jersey City, Damage Control enter premises, but are unable to successfully locate him, after searching the building with a warrant they obtained. [7]
That evening, Damage Control get word that Kamran was spotted at Coles Academic High School, with Night Light, giving them access to two enhanced individuals. Agent Deever has a team set up base for capture. Agent Cleary calls her in to abort the mission, in fear of causing public outrage, but she ignores his orders. A team storm into the premises and arrests four individuals who were in association with the enhanced individuals, but don't capture the powered beings themselves. They are also met by a group of protestors, who are rallying against their involvement. Kamran exits the building, and a fight ensues between himself and the DODC, with Night Light intervening between the two parties. Under Agent Deever's orders, Damage Control fire a sonic weapons at the pair, and momentarily put them to a halt, but the pair quickly recover, with Night Light emerging stronger than ever, and destroying their weapons. Kamran loses control of his powers, but Night Light manages to placate him, and he escapes, leaving her alone. Damage Control attempt to arrest her, but the group of protestors gather behind her in solidarity. Before Damage Control can reach her, she runs away in the air on her platforms, fleeing from the organisation. Agent Cleary calls Deever to inform her she's been terminated, for disregarding his orders, and the group are forced to clear out.[7]
