Darby Spree is a character who appeared in the Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers episode "The Last Leprechaun".

Darby is the leprechaun king. He hails from Ireland. He was the only one of his kin who has avoided being captured by the queen of the Banshees Druella O'Midas.

Trivia

• Darby is the second leprechaun king to appear in a Disney Afternoon series. The first was in the DuckTales episode "Luck o' the Ducks" by the name of King Brian.
  • Darby's overall design resembles Far Darrig from that same episode, but with a beard.
• Darby shares his first name with Darby O'Gill from the film, Darby O'Gill and the Little People. In addition his underground palace bears a strong resemblance to the Leprechaun kingdom in the same film.
