Dark Horse Comics is an American comic book and manga publisher. It was founded in 1986 by Mike Richardson in Milwaukie, Oregon, with the concept of establishing an ideal atmosphere for creative professionals.
Between 1999 and 2004, Dark Horse published comic book adaptations of Tarzan, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Monsters, Inc., and The Incredibles. And in 2008, they published the Return of the Gremlins mini-series. They officially returned to publishing Disney comics in 2018 with a special and a mini-series tying in with Incredibles 2, and will be publishing a 3-issue mini-series based on Frozen in August 2018[1], followed up by the first two Disney Classics graphic novels, Treasure Island starring Mickey Mouse and Moby Dick starring Donald Duck in October and November, respectively.
