David John "Dave" Matthews is a South African-born American singer, musician, and actor. He is the founder and lead vocalist of the self-titled Dave Matthews Band. In addition to music, Matthews has also had multiple roles in films, such as Otis the pet store owner in the 2005 adaptation of Because of Winn Dixie and Ian Maxtone Jones in the 2011 comedy Just Go With It.
For Disney, he played Will Coleman in the 2003 adaptation of Where the Red Fern Grows.
