Daveed Daniele Diggs is an American actor, singer-songwriter, rapper, producer, and writer. He is best known for portraying Mr. Browne in the 2017 drama adaptation of Wonder, as well as writing, producing, and starring in the 2018 comedy-drama film Blindspotting. He is also well-known for voicing Dos the hedgehog in the 2017 Blue Sky Studios film Ferdinand, Victor Stone/Cyborg in the 2022 WAG animated film DC League of Super-Pets, Spruce in the 2023 DreamWorks animated film Trolls Band Together, Jesse and Douglas in the Fox animated sitcom Bob's Burgers, and Squeaky the Mouse in the Netflix animated series Green Eggs and Ham. Additionally, he guest-starred in season 47 of Sesame Street.

For Disney, he performed "Parlez-Vous Rap" in the 2016 Disney animated feature film Zootopia. He also voiced Paul in the 2020 Disney/Pixar film Soul, Norath Kev in Star Wars Resistance, and Crux in Star Wars: Visions. Additionally, he had a recurring role as Johan Johnson in the ABC/Freeform sitcom Black-ish, as well as its spin-off Mixed-ish. He also played Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the 2020 musical drama adaptation of Hamilton. Additionally, he voiced the Rat King in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and Sebastian in the 2023 live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

Diggs was born in Oakland, California, and graduated from Berkeley High School and Brown University, where he graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in theatre arts. He was recruited by Brown for his track skills and broke the Brown Bears' school record in the 110-meter hurdles as a sophomore with a time of 14.21 seconds. After graduating, he worked as a substitute teacher before joining the experimental hip hop band Clipping in 2010.

Diggs performed in experimental theater before he met Lin-Manuel Miranda through Thomas Kail while performing with the freestyle rap group, Freestyle Love Supreme, or FLS. He read and heard early versions of Hamilton before the concept made to off-Broadway and then eventually Broadway. For his part, Diggs won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, as well as a 2016 Grammy Award for the cast album.
