David Fitzgerald Doyle was an American actor and comedian, known for his distinctive raspy voice. He was best known for his portrayal of John Bosley on the ABC TV series Charlie's Angels, and for voicing Grandpa Lou Pickles in the Nickelodeon animated series Rugrats until his death in 1997. Since then, Joe Alaskey assumed the role of Grandpa Lou.

For Disney, he voiced Sheriff Gomer Cleghorn in TaleSpin, Adopt-A-con Judge in Darkwing Duck, W.W. Wacky in Bonkers, Father Roborson in Quack Pack, and Sam Delaney in the Mighty Ducks TV series.
