David William Duchovny is an American actor, writer, producer, director, and singer-songwriter. He is well known for playing Fox Mulder in The X-Files. He also played Hank Moody on the Showtime series Californication.
For Disney, he played Dr. Eugene Sands in the 1997 Touchstone Pictures film Playing God and Johnny Volcano in the ABC TV show Life with Bonnie.
