Dawnn Jane Lewis is an American actress, voice actress, and singer. She is best known for her roles as Jaleesa Vinson–Taylor on A Different World, Robin Dumars on Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, and Cheryl Spade in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka.
For Disney, she played and voiced characters, such as Naoh from The Legend of Tarzan, Marigold Ballard in the Disney Channel Original Movie The Poof Point, Gail DeBarge in Let It Shine, Helen Hanshaw in season two of Sofia the First, Grandma McStuffins in Doc McStuffins, Riley's teacher in Inside Out, and Delivery Lady in Toy Story of Terror!. She also provided additional voices for Monsters University.
