"Deals With Our Devils" is the seventh episode of the fourth season of the ABC/Marvel series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the seventy-third episode overall. It aired on November 29, 2016.

Synopsis

With the loss of half the team, the remaining members search for answers as the clock counts down for Ghost Rider.

Plot

The team is in the lab after the explosion, and there is no sign of Fitz, Coulson, or Robbie. Thinking their friends are dead, they return to the base. However, Fitz, Robbie, and Coulson were alive the entire time, and were simply trapped in between dimensions, being sucked into hell. The three "ghosts" follow the team back to the base. There the Ghost Rider begins to fight Robbie, not wanting to be sucked back into hell. So he leaves Robbie and enters Mack, who goes after a number of Chinatown gangsters with Daisy and Robbie on his tail. However, Robbie is able to strike a bargain with the Ghost Rider and then he returns to Robbie's body. AIDA, Dr. Radcliffe's android, reads the Darkhold and creates a way for Coulson, Fitz, and Robbie to return to normal. Meanwhile, Eli Morrow continues to cause trouble, and Simmons is called to help an Inhuman supposedly undergoing terrigenisis.
