"Deep Trouble" is the first segment of the sixty-seventh episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on January 29, 2018 alongside "Double Trouble", and is the first segment of the thirteenth episode in the third season.
Synopsis[]
When Commander Nemex tries to steal a cloaking device, Mission Force One must rush to save it.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Mission Force One heading to a Nemsystems factory. They use their space jets' shutdown beams to shut it down, so it can't make any more striker bots. Once the team is done, Miles says that this is shaping up to be one galactic day.
After the space jets leave, Aggro tells Commander Nemex that Mission Force One is not bad at their jobs. Nemex shows that whenever a Nemesystems factory is made, Mission Force One takes it down, no matter where they are hidden. Aggro thinks that he and Nemex are bad at hiding. He then shows a display of Mirandos Ariellian, who comes from Tempestoro, a mysterious planet that has the ability to hide itself, thanks to technology developed from her father, Prosperos. This gives Nemex an idea: to steal the planet's cloaking device, copy it, make hundreds of them, and then place them on every planet factory to hide them all. Tempestoro is thought to be in the Ariellian star system. Nemex orders Aggro to launch 50 spy-eyes to scan the area for Planet Tempestoro, and to program them to turn off any energy shield they hit.
Aggro tells Nemex that that is an excellent plan before launching the spy-eyes. One of them goes through Tempestoro's planetary shield, deactivating it, and also causing the spy-eye to power down. Prosperos then fixes up one of the Robo-Penguins' flippers when he notices the planetary shield powering down. Prosperos is about to return to his house and turn the shield back on when the spy-eye falls onto a mountain, causing snow to bury the house. Prosperos and the robo-penguins are okay, but see the buried house.
Back in the stormship, Aggro tells Nemex that one spy-eye has gone offline after hitting nothing. Nemex believes that it is the hidden planet, Tempestoro. Aggro just sent a fleet of strikeships to that area, and Nemex decides to follow on the stormship.
In the Zenith, Zeno informs Mission Force One about a call from Prosperos. Mirandos thinks it's for herself, but Zeno says that the call is for the whole team, and it's urgent. With Mission Force One all present and accounted for, Prosperos shows the team that a spy-eye is going on. Loretta says that Nemesystems uses spy-eyes to spy on people all over the galaxy. Prosperos talks about the spy-eye passing through Tempestoro's cloaking shield and turned it off. The cloaking controls are in Tempestoro's house, which was buried by an avalanche caused when the spy-eye crashed into the mountain. According to Haruna's calculations, it takes 3.6 hours to tunnel back down there. Miles tells Prosperos that if Commander Nemex knows where Tempestoro is, he's probably on his way right now. Mirandos says that all of the Ariellians' advanced technology is stored away on the planet. Some of the galaxy's wort villains have tried to steal it, which is why Tempestoro is hidden. Miles reassures Prosperos that Mission Force One is on their way to help with the digging. Before the call ends, Prosperos says that he will begin the tunnel now. Mission Force One then suits up for the mission, which is to get Prosperos' cloaking shield back on before Nemesystems can find Planet Tempestoro.
The Zenith then makes it to Tempestoro, and Mirandos is delighted to see Prosperos. Bowtie is also happy to see her other Robo-Penguins. Prosperos thanks Mission Force One for coming, and says that the tunnel is going steady, but slow. Miles decides for the team to split up. Mirandos, Prosperos, M.E.R.C., and Miles will keep working on the tunnel while Loretta, Haruna, and Blodger will head back to the Zenith and try to stall Nemex's fleet.
While Miles, Mirandos, M.E.R.C., and Prosperos continue work on the tunnel, Blodger sees twelve strikeships heading towards Tempestoro. Since that is too many for one starship to take on, Haruna and Blodger will use their respective space jets to engage them. Loretta tells Miles that unless Mission Force One stops the strikeships, it will take about ten minutes until they will be close enough to see Tempestoro. Miles says that it will take longer than that to reach Prosperos' house and get the cloaking shield back on.
Only Bowtie and two other Robo-Penguins can help melt through the ice faster. Miles goes to the three Robo-Penguins. They agree to help out with the ice tunnel when a rumbling occurs, blocking the entrance to the ice tunnel. Mirandos, Prosperos, and M.E.R.C. can't reach the cloaking device before Nemesystems arrives. Miles wonders if there is a way for the Robo-Penguins to dig super fast. Mirandos tells Miles that he needs to mod the penguins with a heat mode. Then, they can melt through the ice. Miles and Prosperos like the idea.
Haruna, Blodger, Loretta, and Miss Baker are ready to shut down the strikeships. While they are shutting them down, Miles finishes upgrading the Robo-Penguins with a heat mode. Once they activate it, they dig through the tunnel very quickly, impressing Miles. Miles and the Robo-Penguins make it to Mirandos, Prosperos, and M.E.R.C., and the Robo-Penguins continue their digging, impressing Prosperos. Mirandos says that they will reach the house in no time.
After all of the strikeships have been shut down and the space jets return to the Zenith, Miss Baker sees the Nemesystems stormship pass the Zenith, and she informs Loretta of such. Loretta tells Miles about the situation. Haruna says that it will be in view of Tempestoro in five minutes.
With everyone at Prosperos' house, Miles decides for M.E.R.C. and the Robo-Penguins to clear the ice above the house while Prosperos, Mirandos, and Miles get the cloaking device back on. Once in the house, Prosperos sees that the cloaking device has a broken fuse. Mirandos can make a new one with her Solidizer Gloves, but it will take about three minutes. Mirandos scans the old fuse, and begins to solidize a new fuse. At that time, M.E.R.C. and the Robo-Penguins finish clearing the ice above the house.
In the stormship, Aggro tells Nemex that there is not a sign of Tempestoro yet, but it will be any moment. Mirandos just finishes solidizing the new fuse, and Prosperos plugs it in. Once Miles throws the switch, the cloaking shield activates, making Tempestoro hidden again, completing the mission. This is right when the stormship passes by the planet. In the ship, Aggro confesses to Nemex that the entire Tempestoro plan was his. Nemex tells him where Tempestoro is. Aggro assumes that it is anywhere. Nemex tells him that his plan, like all of his plans, has amounted to nothing. Since they're closer to finding Tempstoro, it shouldn't take long for Aggro to devise a new plan and find it.
Prosperos thanks Mission Force One for helping to hide Tempestoro before Nemex could hide it. They celebrate with some Cosmic Cocoa.

Trivia[]
- This episode marks the third appearance of Planet Tempestoro after "The Discovery Expedition" and "Galactech: March of the Robo-Penguins".
- This is the first time a machine deactivates Tempestoro's cloaking device.
- What Mirandos rides when Mission Force One gets informed about a call from Tempestoro looks like Miles' old Blastboard.
- Nemesystems failing this mission is what leads to them going back to Tempestoro to steal the cloaking device in the next segment, "Double Trouble"; only that time, Aggro makes robot-copies of Miles and Loretta Callisto.
