Trivia[]
- This episode features a cameo from Ms. Marvel comic co-creator and executive producer, Sana Amanat.
- This episode was released on her birthday.
- There is a deleted scene from this episode, after the attack at the wedding, where Kamala and Bruno talk as he is about to be taken to hospital for his broken wrist. Bruno confronts Kamala about his advice on trying to lay low at the wedding and that she lost the gloves he made her. Kamala tells Bruno it was an accident and he believes she doesn't care that he almost died, while she tearfully tells him she cares because he is her best friend. Bruno doesn't like that Kamala called him her "friend", leading him to tell her he wants to be her boyfriend, leaving Kamala stunned and unsure what to say. Kamala apologises before Bruno is taken to hospital.[3]
- Bruno and Kamala's almost kiss during their dance is likely a reference to the Ms. Marvel issue 19 when they shared their first kiss, during a family emergency.
- Nakia finds out about Kamala's powers in this episode.
- This marks the first mention of Erik Selvig since his appearance in Thor: The Dark World.
- During the dance performance, the child is wearing the same Hulk costume Muneeba made for Kamala in "Generation Why".
- Brown Jovi is a Bon Jovi cover band. Bon Jovi was mentioned in one of the first two episodes, which the family were fans of. Bon Jovi's song "Livin' on a Prayer" is also heard when Kamala fights Kamran's mom and her team.
- One of the people Kamala fights presses his chest which releases his weapon, which seems to reference Avengers: Infinity War, when Tony accessed his nanotech suit the same way.
