Pilot[]

Destiny first meets Marvyn Korn on his very first day as the new Basketball Coach at Westbrook. During practice Coach Korn makes some comments about some of the players need to lose weight. He points at Destiny and tells her that she needs to lose 5 pounds before their next game which makes Destiny very upset when he told her that. After practice in the Locker room Destiny's friend and teammate Carolyn Smith goes up to Destiny and asks her if she is okay.

Destiny goes into Coach Korn office after practice crying and tells him that he really hurt her feelings when he fat-shamed her in front of everybody. Marvyn Korn tells Destiny that he’s sorry that he said that and he didn’t mean to hurt her feelings. Then Destiny tells him that she doesn’t play Basketball because she loves it. She plays Basketball because it looks good on College Applications. Marvyn Korn tells her that she shouldn’t be playing Basketball if she has a lack of interest in the sport.

Destiny wakes up when she gets a text from Coach Korn that Practice will be at 6:00 A.M. and if she shows up 10 minutes early she's consider "lat" (misspelling for "Late").
