Trivia[]
- This was the first film produced by Adam Sandler's arguably infamous production studio Happy Madison Productions, as well as the first produced by a subsidiary of Disney. They would produce a second film with Disney in 2002 called The Hot Chick (also through Touchstone Pictures), and a third in 2008 called Bedtime Stories.
- Rob Schneider came up with a character called "Douche Bigalow" with the joke being that he had sex with all the women who wanted him, despite the way he looked. Disney VP Todd Garner didn't like the idea and suggested that the character be a sweet guy who was perhaps a virgin. They later changed the name to "Deuce" because they couldn't use the word "Douche" as the title.
- Ron Soble's final film.
