Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the Deluxe Resorts at Walt Disney World. It is located near the Animal Kingdom theme park and is themed around a lodge on an African wildlife refuge.
Unique to Disney resorts, the Lodge features a Savannah with live animal roaming throughout it. There are a number of Savannah view rooms along with viewing galleries in the public areas that allow viewing of the animals. Night vision goggles are included in the rooms for viewing the nocturnal activities of the Savannah residents.
All of the rooms at the Animal Kingdom Lodge have a balcony and features either two queen beds, one queen bed, and a bunk bed, or a king bed. The rooms are decorated to an African style, with carved wooden headboards and vivid colored bedspreads. Each room has a vanity with two sinks, a refrigerator, an in-room safe and WiFi.

Jiko is the fine dining choice for the lodge featuring fresh fare with a mild African flair and the largest selection of South African wines outside of South Africa.

Boma is a buffet that combines traditional buffet foods with exotic and unique African inspired dishes.

Mara is a quick service eatery with mostly standard American fast food.
