Disney's Christmas Dreams on Parade was a seasonal parade that performed during Tokyo Disneyland's Christmas Fantasy event in 2006 and 2007. The parade gets its name from being a holiday retheme of the daytime parade at the time, Disney's Dreams on Parade: Moving On.
The 2006 version of the parade uses an altered soundtrack from the park's 2002 holiday parade - Disney's Jolly Holiday Parade. This parade is a Tokyo Disneyland rarity in which it does not include a show stop.
Opening - The parade begins with a large sleigh float, reused from the park's 2003 Christmas parade Dreams of Christmas. The parade's logo appears in front, while Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse ride in the sleigh. This is followed with a large glistening Christmas Tree made entirely out of ornaments.
Laugh Factory - Goofy has turned the Laugh Factory into a Toy Factory! As he rises above, his employees Mike, and Sully help make some of the toys. They're joined with the Dumbo and Pinocchio floats from the standard Dreams on Parade.
Space Train: Buzz Lightyear's space train is neatly been tagged with a gift from Santa Claus for Andy. Buzz rides on the train with delight.
Finale - The final float features none other than the jolly ol' red man himself - Santa Claus, delivering gifts from up in the air on his sleigh. The NTT DoCoMo sponsor float ends the parade.
2007 version[]
The 2007 version moves around characters and adds and replaces floats. This is one of the few parades in Disney Park history where Santa does not end the parade - instead, Mickey Mouse, dressed up as Santa Claus, ends the parade.
This version also includes three show stops upon the route, as per tradition with Tokyo Disneyland Seasonal Parades.
Hot Air Balloons - Chip and Dale lead the parade on some hot air balloons rising up and down, with the parade's title in front. This is followed with a large glistening Christmas Tree made entirely out of ornaments.
Snow Fun Unit - This winter wonderland float features Donald and Daisy creating snowpeople. This float is recycled from the sleigh float that Mickey and Minnie rode on in the 2006 parade.
Finale - Santa's reindeer lead the way for the final float, featuring not Santa Claus himself, but Santa Mickey! As before, the NTT DoCoMo Sponsor Float ends the parade.
Show Mode[]
As previously mentioned, this version of the show includes three show stops around the parade route. When this happens, guests are instructed to do a dance along with the performers and characters - upon the finale, the performers grab ribbons during a finale dance number.
