Disney Harmony in Color is a daytime parade that premiered on April 16, 2023[1] at Tokyo Disneyland as part of the park's 40th anniversary celebration, replacing the Dreaming Up! Parade that ran from 2018 to 2023. The parade showcases themes of adventure, courage, family bonds, and friendship through various stories from Disney and Pixar films. It was planned to premiere April 15, 2023, but due to the severe rain, it was delayed until the next day.
To a World of Colorful Dreams - Dancers in colorful costumes accompany Tinker Bell as she appears atop the title float, leading the parade. Her rainbow-colored float is adorned with beautiful petals that seemingly dance in the air, as a colorful Disney world unfolds around her. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Alice, Tweedle Dee, and Tweedle Dum similar to the Happiness is Here Parade follow onwards.
Trying Everything - Based on the 2016 animated movie Zootopia, this themed float with acrobatic performers and tiger dancers features Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, who is now an official police officer. They set out on exciting new missions, along with their hilarious friend, Clawhauser. Flash also sits on the inside of a large donut.
Finding Adventure - Based on the 2009 Pixar animated movie Up, this float features Russell, Dug, and Carl standing on rocks, with Carl's house above it all, rising high. The three are ready to set off to a new adventure with the legendary bird Kevin, with her babies leading the way.
Showing Strength - Based on the 2012 Pixar animated movie Brave, the 2016 animated movie Moana, the 2010 animated movie Tangled and the 1995 animated movie Pocahontas. Merida leads the way to a large three-in-one Disney Princess float. The first portion features Moana rising high in her ship on the swift seas. The second portion sees Rapunzel swinging around her tower, while the third portion sees Pocahontas and Meeko enjoying a swift breeze. The four heroines heroically venture to new frontiers, with courage and determination in their hearts. This is the longest float in the entire parade.
Family Bonds - Based on the 2017 Pixar animated movie Coco and the 2004 Pixar animated movie The Incredibles, this unit features two floats that represent a tribute to family togetherness.
On the first float, Miguel celebrates a colorful Day of the Dead festival with his relatives, also featuring a giant ukulele as the centerpiece of the float, and a Carousel. Many Alebrije dancers and themed bikes lead the float. Miguel's voice is also spoken in Spanish, instead of the usual Japanese.
With Your Best Friends - Based on the 1995 Pixar animated franchise Toy Story, the 2012 animated movie Wreck-It Ralph, and the 2014 animated movie Big Hero 6.
The unit begins with two vehicles - Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Forky riding atop RC, and Ralph and Vanellope in the latter's beloved racing car. This part shares music with the Incredibles float in-front
The main float represents San Fransokyo, with Baymax watching from above and Hiro sitting atop the bridge. The float is led by Honey Lemon and Go Go Tamago, and some performers riding scooters, while Wasabi and Fred appear after. Mochi also makes his first "physical" appearance in a disney park, being held in Baymax's arm. The float was recycled from Dreaming Up.
Dreams Come Together in Harmony - The final unit is led by 2 dancers in golden swallowtail suits. behind them, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Belle and Prince Adam, along with Aladdin and Jasmine all lead the way to the colorful finale, represented by none other than Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their 40th anniversary attire, dawning a beautiful float adorned with a spectrum of sparkling colors. Mickey and Minnie are joined by their other friends - Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale as they set the stage for many more wonderful moments and dreams coming together to create a colorful and harmonious future for all. The petals that decorate the float similar to Jubilation! feature other Disney characters, including Mirabel, Genie, Raya, Tiana, Simba, Stitch, 22, Olaf, Sadness, Dory, Luca, WALL-E, Lightning McQueen, and Remy.
Living in color
Lighting up the streets
Memories for you and me
Let's keep it together (Oh)
You know that it's better
When we're dancin', dancin', dancing
Living in color (like a rainbow)
Lighting up the streets (light u-u-up)
Memories for you and me
Let's keep it together (Oh)
You know that it's better
When we're dancin', dancin', dancing
We'll be living in color
