Disney Move is a minigame collection title developed by Artificial Mind and Movement, and published by Buena Vista Games under the Disney Interactive brand. It was released on PlayStation 2 in Europe only on November 19, 2004.[1] The game relies on the EyeToy camera, which uses motion detection for gameplay.

Plot[]

A magic painting has lost color which must be restored by playing all the minigames.

Gameplay[]

The game consists of six minigames:

  • Fantasmic: Based on Fantasia, players point their arms at flying enemies to defeat them and prevent them from destroying the castle's shield, which has a number representing its health. At intervals, Mickey Mouse will add more health to the shield.
  • The Haunted Screen: Based on The Haunted Mansion film, players have to capture green ghosts and avoid the red ones.
  • Donald Goalie: The player takes the role of a goalkeeper in a game of soccer and has to block balls kicked by Donald Duck, Daisy, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
  • Aladdin Carpet Flight Sim: The player uses arm movements to steer Aladdin's flying carpet to avoid projectiles thrown by Jafar and the Royal Guards, and to throw off any guards who jump onto Aladdin's carpet. The end goal is to rescue Jasmine from Jafar who has kidnapped her on his own flying carpet.
  • Stitch Groove: The player has to memorize the order that Lilo and Stitch play a selection of instruments, and then play them in the same order.
  • Pirates Battle: Based on Peter Pan, the player has to help Peter fight off pirates by hitting them and their projectiles. The player also has to help defeat Captain Hook by allowing Tick-Tock the Crocodile to capture him.

After each minigame is completed, a video from the related franchise will be unlocked. A two player mode is also available where players can try to beat each others' scores.
