- This will be third Disney mobile RPG after Disney Heroes: Battle Mode and Disney Sorcerer's Arena.
- Disney Sorcerer's Arena was closed earlier the same year, July 31. Disney Heroes: Battle Mode remains active and runs concurrently with Disney Pixel RPG.
- This will be first time The Aristocats, Pinocchio, and Dumbo characters are in Disney mobile RPG.
- Unlike other Disney mobile RPG games and most of other crossover Disney games, this game will only feature Disney characters, it will not feature any Pixar characters or any characters from other branch (e.g. Marvel, Star Wars). Kingdom Hearts characters will not be released in this game either.
