Disney Solitaire is a mobile game based on the solitaire card games (which in turn became popular as a computer game and later on various video game devices). It is the first collaboration between Disney and the game company SuperPlay, known for developing popular mobile games such as Dice Dreams and Domino Dreams.
The game originally soft-launched in select regions such as Colombia and the Philippines with a worldwide release on April 17, 2025.[1][2]
Gameplay[]
Disney Solitaire is a card game based on a traditional solitaire game, albeit added with Disney-themed elements. Playing levels can either be played by having tickets that can allow the player to play for free or coins that the player must pay in order to play. During gameplay, players must clear the number of cards from the table one rank from high to low as well as the card at the bottom. As soon as the player clears away the cards in a level successfully, they will earn stars along the way required to recreate scenes from certain Disney moments such as The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, or Moana.
Once the player completes each scene by using stars, they will move on to another scene, which will suddenly unlock. To unlock a new scene, the player must fully complete each scene through the use of stars. The more the player advances by completing a number of levels, the harder gameplay goes where they will encounter certain mechanics (such as puzzles to complete on deck or card values switching throughout the game) such as earning streak bonuses by matching cards in a row, using wildcards in case no card of an existing value is available during gameplay, or earning puzzle pieces where players must fill in an amount of puzzle pieces to complete the outlines of puzzles recreating Disney moments to earn rewards. Limited time challenges would occasionally occur in the formed of timed challenges where players would earn special rewards along the way, such as collecting specific currencies or participating in challenges in completing levels without failing to earn rewards (chase events include helping King Triton complete his rainbow by collecting tridents or Winnie the Pooh float up to the biggest beehive by collecting honeycombs to earn a grand prize without having his balloons being popped by bees, race events involve players reaching the finish line with characters from Cars by collecting oil cans, and some other events involve collecting special currencies to trade for rewards leading up to the grand prize once all are collected). In case the player runs out of cards with some cards still on the table, they can purchase a new deck of cards for coins if they have collected enough coins; otherwise, they will lose the game if they end their gameplay.
