Trivia[]
- Notably enough, the original edition published on September 5, 2017 features elements from the film Coco. Yet, the book itself was published two months before the aforementioned film's American release on November 22, 2017.
- Starting in the 2020 updated version, sections consisting of contents from The Incredibles, Wreck-It Ralph, Toy Story, and Frozen were updated to include characters who originated from Incredibles 2, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Toy Story 4, and Frozen II, respectively.
- In the Frozen section, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven's illustrations based on their designs from the first Frozen film were replaced with their illustrations from Frozen II in the 2020 updated version. Additionally, Yelana, Honeymaren, Ryder, King Runeard, Mattias, the Wind Spirit, the Water Spirit, the Fire Spirit, and the Earth Giants were added to the aforementioned section.
- Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff's descriptions also received an update referencing the events of Frozen II.
- Winston Deavor, Evelyn Deavor, the Screenslaver, and Tony Rydinger were added in the Incredibles section in the 2020 updated version. Ironically, despite Tony originating from the first Incredibles film, the original edition from 2017 did not include him for unknown reasons.
- Forky, Gabby Gabby, Duke Caboom, and Ducky and Bunny were added into the Toy Story section of the book in the 2020 edition.
- Bo Peep's classic design used in the first, second, and third films was replaced by her design used in Toy Story 4 being presented with a character description referencing the events of the aforementioned film (which was not present in the original edition of the book). The Little Green Aliens have been simply renamed to "The Aliens" in this same edition albeit keeping their description from the original edition of the book. Additionally, Woody and Buzz Lightyear's descriptions were updated to include references to the events of Toy Story 4, albeit keeping their original artwork designs from the original edition of the book.
- In the original edition, the Wreck-It Ralph section of the book originally featured profile pages for Sour Bill and Wynnchel and Duncan. In the 2020 edition, they were replaced by Yesss and Shank from Ralph Breaks the Internet respectively for unknown reasons.
- In the 2020 edition, the Lady and the Tramp section erroneously removes the description for Tony, but not for Joe.
- For unknown reasons, neither the original edition nor the 2020 edition feature entries from Brother Bear, Dinosaur, Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Home on the Range, or any of the package films of the 1940s.
