Disneyland's 30th Anniversary Parade was a parade that was held throughout the year of 1985 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland. It was akin to most generic character parades the park held throughout it's life, featuring basic floats decorated in anniversary logos, flags and banners and characters parading on ground or on the floats.
The same parade was also held in the Magic Kingdom under the name of Mickey's Street Party. Only the name, coloring of the floats and logos were changed, everything else remained the same as the version at Disneyland. This version lasted longer than in Disneyland, lasting until September of 1986, when it was replaced with its own anniversary parade.
Floats[]
- Opening: Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck dance in front of the anniversary logo (Disneyland)/Parade's logo (Magic Kingdom).
- In the Disneyland version streamers appear at the back of this float, blocking any access to the back.
- In the Magic Kingdom version Orville sometimes appeared on the back of the float.
- Balloon Holders: These are two hexagonal floats with the 30th Anniversary logo on 4 sides.
- In the Disneyland version, these floats have some helium balloons tied up to some net, which sometimes would let some of the balloons release into the air.
- In the Magic Kingdom version, the float sometimes doesn't have any balloons. The top is sometimes covered with glass windows so the Balloons wouldn't escape.
- Character Float #1: This large character float features Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale, Goofy and Pluto.
- In the Magic Kingdom version King Leonidas, Baloo and Huey, Dewey, and Louie sometimes appeared on this float.
- Balloon Holders: Same as the previous set.
- Character Float #2: This smaller float has Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore, alongside some dancers.
- In the Magic Kingdom version, Bernard and Miss Bianca sometimes appeared at the back of this float.
All the floats were decorated with ribbons, helium balloons, and streamers.
