"Do Toons Dream of Animated Sheep?" is the thirty-fourth episode of Bonkers. Actually it is the 55th in Chronological order.

Synopsis[]

Tired of being a part of Bonkers' dreams, the Toon sheep Baa-bara invades the dreams to make them her own, draining Bonkers' health. With the help of Dr. Von Drake, Bonkers manages to exchange good dreams for Baa-bara in return for ceasing her invasion.

  • The title is a reference to the Philip K. Dick short story Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
  • Before the sugar rush, Bonkers quotes "I'll be back" from The Terminator.
    • He later quotes "Hasta la vista" from the sequel Judgement Day.
  • After the sugar rush, Bonkers references the Mary Poppins lyric: "A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down".
  • Baabara's ride into the sunset spoofs The Lone Ranger. It even contains the music.
  • The Wizard of Oz is referenced when Miranda and Grating awaken.
  • The following shots are used in the opening
    • Bonkers going down the drain and Miranda's shocked reaction
    • Miranda in the maniacal toon cop car and the stop sign blowing its whistle telling it to stop.
    • Bonkers riding a hippo face first into a flying anvil.
