"Dog Eat Dog" is the second segment of the premiere episode of the Disney Channel animated series StuGo.

Synopsis[]

Mutant Mischief! The kids must face the Mutant thieves who stole their food.

Plot[]

The kids are challenging each other to a water to the eye resistance contest with Pliny defeating Chip easily. Pliny tells Larry that the trick is that the eyes need to be wet. As they get their weekly shipment of food from Dr. Lullah, the kids step outside to find that their whole shipment is getting stolen by a humanoid crocodile. Fearing that they will starve, they go up to Dr. Lullah's lab and ask that she give them another ration, but she refuses, quoting the old saying that it is a "dog eat dog world". The kids decide to venture down to the mutants and challenge them to a competition. As soon as they make land, Pliny's boots get stolen by the mutants.

The kids find the mutants' hideout and urge them into a competition rather than a fight. They willingly accept for the food as well as Pliny's boots. The kids and mutants partake in some ridiculous including push ups (without the use of arms); reading; ripping books; rock, paper, scissors; high wire; and "Gimme back my boots" (the last of which Pliny unintentionally shouted resulting in it being a game). Pliny must get the boots out of geysers. Following her own advice, she jumps in to grab the boots (losing her hair in the process), only for the mutant leader to cheat by stealing the boots back from her.

Having had enough, Pliny urges the rest of stugo to join her in getting their stuff back, leading to them all battling and beating up the mutants for the food. Unfortunately, Sara accidentally floods the mutants' home, resulting in all the food being lost. The kids are surprised to learn that the mutants feed on sand. Feeling bad for them, the kids team up with the mutants to break into Dr. Lullah's food stash. They are successful and begin to ransack her. All of this is revealed to have been part of Dr. Lullah's plan in an effort to get the kids to learn about teamwork and to take things by force, which she happily muses on.
