The Lost Chords- The Rescuers

"Doin' What I Really Love Best" is a deleted song from Disney's 1977 animated feature-length film, The Rescuers. It was to have been sung by the deleted character, Louis the Bear (voiced by the late Louis Prima) as Bernard and Miss Bianca approached his cage in the zoo.

Lyrics[]

Sitting in my favorite position doin' nothin'
Is doin' what I really do best
Other people concentrate a lot of doin' somethin'
I just concentrate on my rest
I'm happy with my own guitar beneath a shady tree,
'Cause I don't bother worries, and they don't bother me
Sitting in my favorite position doin' nothin'
Is doin' what I really do best
Oh yes, it's doin' what I really do best.
