Donald Jay "Don" Rickles was an American stand-up comedian, actor, singer, author, and voice artist, best known as an insult comic, playing both comedic and dramatic roles in film and television. He is also known for being a special guest on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and Late Show with David Letterman. Some of his most prominent roles in cinema include Run Silent, Run Deep as Quartermaster 1st Class Ruby, Kelly's Heroes as Staff Sergeant "Crapgame", and Quest for Camelot as Cornwall.

For Disney, he performed the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the Pixar Toy Story franchise, William from the former Walt Disney World attraction The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management), and the Boss in Redux Riding Hood. He also guest-starred on Muppets Tonight in Episode 205, alongside Coolio.

Rickles had signed up to reprise his role in Toy Story 4, but died before recording any dialogue. Despite his passing, he reprised his role through unused, pre-recorded dialogue from previous films, video games, and other media.[1] The film is dedicated to him, along with Adam Burke who passed away in October 2018.
