Donald's Goofy World is an animated short starring Donald Duck and featuring Goofy from the House of Mouse episode "Gone Goofy".
Plot[]
Donald gets tired of the way Goofy goofs up, but then falls into a dream world where everybody is Goofy – including Donald!
Synopsis[]
The newspaper arrives at Donald's House, but Donald has trouble trying to open the door. Donald calls up a Ajax Door Fixer, only to find out his employee is Goofy. He ends up fixing the door, but not properly and begins to tease him by locking him out. Eventually, when Donald begins to kick the door down, Goofy opens it and Donald goes flying into the wall. Donald is furious with Goofy and tells him that he never wants to see his face again. After he gets a sad Goofy out of his sight, the door to Donald's House slams onto him.
Donald then sees himself reading a newspaper where Goofy has become president. He is surprised, only to notice the paper is called the "Goofy Gazette". Donald turns on the TV, but every show he turns into is Goofy-ified. Donald is downright blindsighted, and goes to the mirror, but his eye pupils and tongue become all Goofy as well. When he takes his temperature, the thermometer goes up to the top, which is Goofy hat-shaped, deeming his temperature to be "Goofy". Donald decides to go and get some fresh air.
As he takes a walk, he passes by his neighbors, all of which look, sound and act like Goofy. Donald freaks out and runs off to a flower patch, but even the flowers have Goofy's head, and so do all the animals and wildlife. As a blindsighted Donald runs away from the insane world of Goofy (with even the sun turning into Goofy), he reaches to Mickey's house. He's happy to see Mickey - only to find out he has gained a Goofy face, naming himself as Goofy Mouse. He asks Donald if he remembers Goofo (Pluto), as well as Hoofy, Doofy, and Loofy (Huey, Dewey, and Louie). Donald runs away and crashes into Daisy, who he hugs. Donald is happy to see her - until she too has gained a Goofy face and tries to give Donald a kiss.
Donald, scared out of his wits, runs back into his house and blocks out the door, not wanting anything to do with Goofy. Eventually, the Goofy picture in the newspaper and "Goofy the Vampire Slayer" come to life, telling Donald that being Goofy isn't all that bad, as Goofy's clothes appear on him, and his beak becomes Goofy's snout with ears growing. Donald, once again freaked out, tries to escape but crashes into the door and knocks himself out.
Donald then finds himself on the decking, and sees Goofy. He then notices everything (including Daisy and his nephews) is fine, but Donald is mad with Goofy for causing the nightmare he had. As Goofy sadly leaves, Donald tells him that he is happy that there is only one Goofy in this world. Goofy goes back to fixing the door, but resorts to teasing Donald again. The cartoon ends with an angry Donald pesuading Goofy to open the door again.
