Synopsis[]
Portrait photographer Donald has to take a picture of Shelby, an adorable baby turtle who refuses to cooperate.
Plot[]
While working in his photography studio, Donald accidentally bumps into Mrs. Turtle, who asks photographer Donald to take a picture of her Baby Shelby. Donald then tries to take the picture but the little turtle refuses to smile, and so Donald tries various methods to make him smile, such as having a Mickey Mouse puppet throw a pie on his face, but Shelby does not respond and finally, after Donald's impersonation of a clown on a unicycle, he screams and hides in his shell.
Donald then tries a lot of ways to make him come out, such as flooding the shell with water or throwing pepper, but the cunning turtle always gets the better of Donald. Finally, the turtle comes out but only to take a picture of Donald stuck in Shelby's shell, causing a furious Donald to chase him throughout the mall even meeting Daisy Duck twice while he is accidentally dressed with female clothes, much to Daisy's dismay. Eventually Shelby stumbles upon a cardboard cutout of a turtle with its head cut off for photos' purposes, Shelby puts his head on it and Donald finally manages to take the picture. Mrs. Turtle happily thanks Donald for his work and asks him to take pictures of Shelby's brothers and sisters too, much to Donald's annoyance.

- The department store Donald is working in is an obvious parody of Sears.
