"Donald the Genie" is the seventy-seventh episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It originally aired on Playhouse Disney on October 18, 2010, and is the tenth episode in the third season.
Plot[]
Donald becomes a magical genie who is able to grant each friend one wish.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins in the Clubhouse with Mickey greeting the viewers and states that today is Do-Our-Favorite-Things Day. Since tap dancing is one of his favorite things to do, he has his tap-dance shoes on. He tap-dances as the gang arrives with their things and explains what they like to do with them. After Mickey asks the viewers if they want to join them as they do their favorite things, he goes to the Mousekedoer to pick up his Mouseketools: building blocks, a magnifying glass, cookie jars, and the Mystery Mouseketool.
The gang then does their favorite things; Minnie goes in the kitchen, Daisy goes to pick some flowers in the flower garden, Goofy goes to the picnic table, and Donald decides to go fishing. Mickey then does tap-dancing but accidentally breaks Donald's fishing rod. The clubhouse mailbox then arrives. A lamp then arrives, revealing itself to be the magic lamp of the Genie of the Desert. Donald rubs it so that the Genie, who is Pete, gets freed. Mickey welcomes him, and Pete, having overheard everything that happened, fixes the fishing rod.
Donald wishes he could be Donald the Genie. Pete then makes the wish come true when Donald says the magic genie words, which are "abra ka zam", with him. Pete states that Donald can make all of his friends' wishes come true, but Donald can only make one wish come true for each of his friends by saying the magic genie words. As Pete goes fishing, Mickey suggests Donald keep track of who he's given a wish to. So, a wish list is then shown with Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, and Daisy.
First, Mickey wishes he could tap dance all day long, and Donald grants the wish. As a result, the shoes tap dance by themselves. At first, Mickey enjoys it, but since the shoes can't stop, he goes to the Up-Slide and tap-dances all around the clubhouse. Donald notices he can't make any more wishes to Mickey, so he calls Toodles for the building blocks so Mickey can make it down safely. As he continues to tap-dance, Donald decides to do better with the second wish, which is for Goofy.
Donald and Pluto find him preparing for a picnic. Goofy wishes for something to eat, as he forgot to bring food, and Donald grants the wish. However, since what Goofy got is too small for him to see, Donald, Mickey, and Goofy call Toodles for the magnifying glass so that Goofy can see what they are, and they are bologna sandwiches, which Goofy loves. They are small because Goofy wished for a "little something" to eat. As Goofy has them, Donald recaps that Minnie gets the third wish.
Donald and Pluto then find Minnie, who wishes it were cooler, as it gets warm in the kitchen when she bakes her treats. Donald grants the wish, causing it to snow, and later realizes that he messed up as it is too cold for Minnie now. Minnie wishes for something to keep her warm, and she and Donald call Toodles for the Mystery Mouseketool, which is a scarf, which Minnie loves. Donald and Pluto decide to make someone's wish come true without messing it up; he only has to grant a wish to Daisy.
She has no flowers to plant in the garden. Donald introduces himself. Daisy wishes for flowers, and Donald grants it. However, lots of flowers appear, and since Donald has no more wishes, he, Mickey, and Daisy call Toodles for the cookie jars to use like flower vases. As Daisy is delighted to see the flowers in the cookie jars, Donald goes to get Pete, who is still fishing, and tells him everything that happened. Donald wishes he could make his friends happy with their wishes and with him, but Pete can't give him a second wish, as he gets to grant one wish each. Just then, the gang arrives, stating that Donald didn't mess up their wishes. Daisy states that Donald made their favorite things even better, and Donald states that all he wants is to be friends with them, and decides to be himself.
Afterwards, Pete removes the tap dancing shoes from Mickey and leads them to the desert. The gang then goes to the Clubhouse and does the Hot Dog Dance. The episode ends with them exiting the Clubhouse as it disappears and Mickey waving goodbye to the viewers.
